2 WEEKS!!

WE ARE GETTING MARRIED IN TWO WEEKS...almost 2 weeks but YAYAYAYAYA!

My Michael Jackson and I attended my sisters wedding in California. We were a hot stylin couple...super hot! I was the Maid of Honor and Mike was my arm candy. We caught up with family, danced like fools, and played house while Britt and Sean spent their first married night together at the Disneyland Hotel. The trip was fun and we got BURNED at the dog beach...good times!

I shouldnt have joked about the death of Michael Jackson

Sunday night (7/5/09) at 11:30 Mike started getting a migraine. He said he was getting a blindspot and the left side of his face and arm went numb! We went to the ER and he got every test you could think of. They ended up admitting him to a room and we both stayed there for 39 hours! After Catscans and MRIs and all sorts of testing they came to a diagnosis. Mike has a small benign cyst in the center of his brain. When it gets inflamed it cuts off the flow of spinal fluid and causes severe migraines with blindspots and dexterity issues. They released him from the hospital with no restrictions but he needs to see a neurosurgeon to determine whether or not he will need surgery. I'm nervous but I dont want to overreact. We'll see what the Dr. says. I'll just be over hear praying until I pass out, excuse me.

Michael Jackson Died!

Clarification: THE Michael Jackson, Dead. MY Michael Jackson, NOT DEAD!! Seeing a headline announcing the death of someone with your fiances same name is NOT a happy feeling! Sorry you're dead King of Pop but Im SOOOO grateful for my honey. I dont know what I'd do without him! I dont ever want to see the sentance "Michael Jackson Died" ever again!

How I spent my lunch hour

After eating lunch outside in the beautiful weather, I found a stone bench in the shade. I laid down and let the heat of the stone soak up through my back. This was the view above me. If I pretended the buses passing on the street were crashing waves it felt like I was on the sandy beach of Hawaii!! Glorious hour away from my desk.

Bridal Show!

Mike and I went with our Mothers to the Phoenix Bridal Show! It was pretty overwhelming...thousands of booths, TONS of samples and lots and lots of ideas! We all had fun spending time together and taking silly pictures. Mike and I signed up for a tour of a new hotel/spa and got a free cruise! Perhaps we wont go to Vegas on our Honeymoon afterall!

Spa Day!!

Mindy and I had our toes done on Saturday. The Spa was so cute, with dolphin murals and niiiice massage chairs! It was amazing and even came with a complimentary back rub! Great way to start the weekend and a MUST for Mindy, the mommy to be!

Coming up...

Mike and I are planning like mad these days! There's a whole Wedding/Honeymoon to plan, a house to buy, and a future to prepare for. On Sunday we're going to a Bridal show in Phoenix with our mothers, that ought to be fun! Look for pictures of that next week! We should be putting a bid on a house this month and hopefully close on it before August. The plan is to get something before September so Mike can move in and I can decorate before the wedding in October. Lots and lots to do...we both look forward to the day when we can just cuddle on OUR couch and watch OUR tv and then go sleep in OUR bed! I cant wait!

Mothers Day

All mom wanted for Mothers day was a picture of her and her girls. We had a fun day running around the Mesa Arts Center. Mike was our photographer and he did an amazing job! I Lubba Him!

Im sure Im probably not doing this right but Im finding that I do not like the layout of blogspot! I want to put too many pictures in and the setup doesnt really allow for that! I want to just put all my pics in a slideshow, which I see you can do in the sidebar!! but not in the posts...which is what I want to do. WHATEV! grrr...

Aww the newly engaged Happy Campers. The weekend after the proposal Mike and I went to the dunes with the Perkins. It was a blast except the last coulpe hours we were there. OF COURSE I fell off the quad a broke my arm. Go big or go home eh?

HE PROPOSED!!

Feb. 12 09 Michael Jackson asked me to marry him! haha how many people can say that!? We were celebrating Valentines day early. He took me to the Biltmore Resort in Scottsdale for a romantic gondola ride! After gliding along the moonlit lake, listening to our gonolier sing italian opera we snuggled in the courtyard enjoying the chilly evening and the view. Then, my smooth man drops down to one knee and opens a small box...my heart jumped into my throat....then the ring fell out of the box and he scrambled to retrieve it mumbling curses while I laughed my head off! it was perfect.
He presented me with the ring and asked me to be his forever. I said yes of course, and we spent the next few hours telling everyone we knew about it! haha

Payson

Our Beautiful day trip Payson! The weather was SO nice! We went antiquing and stopped in all the shops. We got some great shots at the lake and fed some CRAZY geese!

Halloween 08

Mike and I were "little red riding hood and the wolf" He was so cute with his rubber nose! We took a trip to Cali to visit my family for Halloween. We went to Disneyland and Knots Scary Farm, took my nephew Spencer trick or treating and even had time to bum around at the beach...GREAT trip!

Date-sy Wate-sy

Mike and I actually met in high school. I used to give him rides home in my big orange truck. He was the cutest, sweetest, biggest hugger....but of course I was dating someone else. We both secretly had crushes on eachother but somehow graduation parted us. I moved to Califonia and Mike went on his mission and life took us in seperate directions.
Luckily Mike found me YEARS later on myspace of all places and we both realized how lucky we were for this second chance! We've been the cutest most disgusting couple since!
